Hatiwave takes reasonable care to ensure that information published on this website is clear, accurate and up to date.

However, website content is provided for general information about our services and should not be treated as a project-specific guarantee, quotation or contractual commitment unless expressly confirmed by Hatiwave in writing.

Services, pricing structures, package contents, turnaround information and other website material may be updated from time to time.

The version of any project-specific agreement accepted when a project is booked will apply to that project.

2. WEBSITE ESTIMATES

Any price generated by a Hatiwave website calculator is an estimated project range only.

Website estimates are based on the information entered by the visitor and cannot account for every factor that may affect the amount of work required.

Final pricing may depend on matters including:

Dialogue condition;

Number and complexity of locations;

Amount of production audio available;

Foley requirements;

Sound-design requirements;

Music requirements;

3. INFORMATION ENTERED INTO ESTIMATE CALCULATORS

Website estimates rely upon information supplied by the user.

Hatiwave is not responsible for an inaccurate estimate resulting solely from incorrect, incomplete or misunderstood information entered into a calculator.

For example, selecting standard dialogue restoration where the production audio requires extensive repair may result in the final quotation being higher than the initial website estimate.

Where a Client is unsure which option applies, Hatiwave can review the project before confirming a final quotation.

4. NO AUTOMATIC BOOKING

Submitting an enquiry form, project form, calculator result, preview link or other information through this website does not automatically create a contract or reserve production time.

A project is considered booked only when the relevant booking requirements have been completed in accordance with Hatiwave's Terms & Conditions and project agreement.

This will normally include agreement of the project scope and fee, acceptance of the required service agreement and receipt of the required initial payment.

Availability remains subject to Hatiwave's production schedule until a booking has been confirmed.

5. PROJECT AVAILABILITY

Any indication of availability on the website is general and may change as projects are booked.

Hatiwave does not guarantee that a particular production period, deadline or completion date will remain available before a project has been formally booked.

Where a production has a fixed deadline, the Client should inform Hatiwave before confirming the project.

6. CREATIVE RESULTS

Film sound and music involve creative judgement as well as technical work.

Examples, descriptions and portfolio material on this website demonstrate the type and quality of work Hatiwave may provide but do not guarantee that every future project will sound identical to previous work.

Each project is approached according to its own:

Story;

Genre;

Production audio;

Creative direction;

Budget;

Source material;

Technical requirements;

Client brief.

Hatiwave will perform contracted services with reasonable care and skill in accordance with the agreed scope.

Creative examples shown on the website should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a particular subjective artistic result.

7. BEFORE & AFTER AUDIO EXAMPLES

Where Hatiwave publishes dialogue restoration, sound-design, mixing or other before-and-after examples, these are intended to demonstrate work performed on the particular source material shown.

The results achievable on one recording do not guarantee that the same level of restoration or improvement will be technically possible on every recording.

Audio restoration is dependent upon the condition and content of the original material.

Severe clipping, distortion, microphone rustle, handling noise, missing dialogue, excessive environmental noise and other recording problems may limit the result that can reasonably be achieved.

8. PORTFOLIO & SELECTED WORK

Projects, credits, clips, stills, audio examples and other portfolio material displayed on the Hatiwave website are included with the appropriate permission or on another lawful basis.

The presence of a project within our portfolio does not imply that Hatiwave was responsible for every element of that project's soundtrack.

The role performed by Hatiwave may vary between projects and may include full post-production, dialogue editorial, sound design, music, mixing, additional sound work or another specifically credited service.

Where appropriate, individual project descriptions or credits will identify the work performed.

9. TESTIMONIALS & CLIENT COMMENTS

Any testimonials, feedback or Client comments displayed on the website represent the views or experiences of the individuals or organisations who provided them.

They should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every Client or project will experience identical results.

Hatiwave will not knowingly publish fabricated Client testimonials as genuine feedback.
